Who we are

Capital Project AI is operated by Capital Project Inc., a Delaware corporation headquartered in Houston, Texas. In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Capital Project Inc.

This policy applies to capitalproject.ai, our application at /app, and any related APIs we operate.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account information: name, work email, hashed password, and license tier when you register.
• Contact form submissions: name, company, email, phone, country, job title, address, and message.
• Project data: the schedules, activities, dependencies, costs, and resource information you upload.
• AI Advisor messages: the questions you send to the in-app advisor.

Information collected automatically

• Session data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in.
• Usage logs: which engines you ran (Kelly, Kingman, Amdahl, Attention, Financial, Schedule), timestamps, and the project name. We do not log the content of your schedules in these logs.
• Standard server logs: request paths, response codes, IP address, and user-agent for security and debugging.
• Marketing analytics: when enabled, third-party scripts (Apollo, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Insight) may set their own cookies. See the Cookie Policy.

How we use it

• To deliver the analyses, dashboards, and AI Advisor responses you request.
• To maintain account security, detect abuse, and operate the service.
• To respond to sales, support, and contact-form inquiries.
• To improve the product (in aggregate; we do not train external AI models on your project data).
• To comply with legal obligations.

When we share information

We share personal information only with the following categories of recipients:

• Infrastructure providers who host the application and database (e.g., Railway, Vercel) under data processing terms.
• The AI Advisor LLM provider (Anthropic) when you send a message to the advisor; messages are sent to generate a response and are subject to Anthropic's privacy terms.
• Marketing analytics providers if you have accepted analytics cookies (see Cookies).
• Authorities when required by valid legal process.

We do not sell personal information.

Retention

We retain account, project, and usage data for as long as your account is active. Contact-form submissions are retained for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Server logs are retained for 30 days.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA / similar)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Delete your information ("right to be forgotten").
• Export your information in a portable format.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent for cookie-based tracking at any time.
• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (CCPA). We do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email founder@capitalproject.ai from the address associated with your account. We respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in and a small consent cookie to remember your cookie preference. Optional analytics cookies load only after you accept them. See the Cookie Policy for the full list.

International transfers

Capital Project AI is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. We rely on standard contractual clauses where applicable.

Children

Capital Project AI is a B2B tool intended for adults working on capital projects. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we'll update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email.
